Blood Pressure Secret Is Unlocked: Hope For Better Drug Treatments After Major Breakthrough By British And America Experts.
Blood pressure secret
- Scientist are looking to replicate the way the body regulates blood pressure
- Discovery marks ‘fundamental change’ in the way scientists view blood pressure
- The condition is reduced when nerves surrounding arteries release nitric oxide
A scientific breakthrough on the blood pressure secret could make a way for more effective blood pressure drugs.
Research has shown how the body regulates blood pressure – they are now trying to replicate this with medication.
They Observed in the blood pressure secret, that the condition is naturally reduced when nerves that surround the arteries release nitric oxide.
Scientists said that this discovery marks a ‘fundamental change’ in the way they view blood pressure. Previously, experts thought it was regulated by the blood vessel walls themselves, rather than the bundle of nerves surrounding them.
The breakthrough also offers a clue about the role stress and emotion play in the condition, because these nerves have a direct link to the brain.
It’s a fact: High Blood Pressure is a national EPIDEMIC. 65 million Americans have it. That’s 1 in 3 people! And over $50 billion dollars are spent EACH YEAR on blood pressure medication. Medication that often does more harm to your body than good! With side effects ranging from dizziness to headaches…

Nearly 5 million U.S. adults aged 65 and older are not taking their medication properly, putting them at risk for severe health complications, including , stroke, kidney disease, and , according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The condition vastly increases the risk of heart attacks, strokes and vascular dementia, but because it has no symptoms until it is too late, only half of those with the condition know they are at risk.
Of those who have been diagnosed, hundreds of thousands take daily pills to control their blood pressure. However, the current treatment is only effective for about half of patients.
The discovery, by scientists at King’s College London, could allow doctors to mimic the body’s method of regulating blood pressure, such as by stimulating the nerves with enzymes so they produce more of the chemical.
The research team, whose work is published in the journal Hypertension, made the discovery through experiments on healthy men with normal blood pressure, in which they used a drug to stop the nerves producing nitric oxide and found blood pressure rocketed as a result.
Professor Ajay Shah, of the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas reacting to the blood pressure secret’, said: ‘Our discovery will fundamentally change the way we view the regulation of blood pressure.
‘Until now the majority of blood pressure drugs have focused on other pathways.
‘Establishing that nerves releasing nitric oxide influence blood pressure provides a new target for drugs and could eventually lead to more effective treatments for patients.’
Professor Jeremy Pearson, associate medical director at the British Heart Foundation, which part-funded the research, said: ‘Whilst there are already many treatments for high blood pressure, they are not always effective.’
He added: ‘These results provide hope of new treatments for people with poorly controlled high blood pressure, which could prove crucial in preventing a heart attack or stroke.’ Some people are asking does drinking water lower blood pressure?
Did you know that one of the benefits of drinking water is normal blood pressure? In short, staying adequately hydrated is one of the simplest ways to lower your blood pressure naturally.
Also, how does not drinking enough water raise your blood pressure? Water intake affects blood pressure in two ways. First, when you don’t drink enough water your body attempts to secure its fluid supply by retaining sodium. Sodium is your body’s “water-insurance mechanism.”
Similarly, dehydration forces your body to gradually and systematically close down some of its capillary beds. When some capillary beds shut down, it puts more pressure in the “pipes”—your capillaries and arteries—elevating your blood pressure. So, one of the best ways to lower your blood pressure naturally is by staying well-hydrated.
What A Blood Pressure Reading of 105/65 Means
The readings above 90/60 and below 120/80 shows that the pressure in the arteries is considered normal for most adults, blood pressure 105 over 60 pulse 100. But, in most cases, a systolic blood pressure less than 110 may be associated with dizziness when you are standing. It’s more likely to occur to older adults and people that usually have a much higher blood pressure.
Also, in other instances, a systolic blood pressure that is less than 110 can also be associated with dizziness when you are standing. Instances like this is more likely to occur to older adults and those with higher blood pressure.

- DON’T overdo it. While I want you to get the health benefits of drinking water, I don’t want you to go overboard. Like a sponge, your body can absorb water at a limited rate. It will require some time to adapt to your new level of water intake and become fully hydrated. Drinking too much water can overwork your kidneys and digestive system. Hypertension, diabetes, and stress all leave the kidneys in a weakened state, so be careful. Finally, if you have congestive heart failure, kidney issues, or are taking diuretics and/or are on fluid restrictions, consult your physician before increasing your water intake. That’s because hypertension, diabetes, and stress all leave the kidneys in a weakened state.
- DO drink more water when you exercise. You lose water through sweat and evaporation. So, to get the full benefits of drinking water you want to hydrate well before, during, and after exercise.
Blood Pressure Chart
You cab use the blood pressure chart below to see what your blood pressure means. The blood pressure chart is suitable for adults of any age. (The level for high blood pressure does not change with age.)
Note that Blood pressure readings have two numbers, for example 140/90mmHg.
The top number is your systolic blood pressure. (The highest pressure when your heart beats and pushes the blood round your body.) The bottom one is your diastolic blood pressure. (The lowest pressure when your heart relaxes between beats.)
Blood pressure chart below shows ranges of high, low and healthy blood pressure readings.
How to use this blood pressure chart: To work out what your blood pressure readings mean, just find your top number (systolic) on the left side of the blood pressure chart and read across, and your bottom number (diastolic) on the bottom of the blood pressure chart. Where the two meet is your blood pressure.
Taking blood pressure pills at bedtime may prevent more heart attacks, strokes
Is it ok to take half of your blood pressure medican in the morning and half at night? Some studies suggest that blood pressure pills taken at night might improve blood pressure and prevent more heart attacks and strokes than taking the same medications during the day.
In deciding when to take your blood pressure pills, the most important thing is to pick a time that ensures you will take your medicine every day.
When you take only one pill, ask your doctor whether taking it at night might be better for you. If you take more than one drug, then taking at least one of them at night before bed makes sense.
Please don’t start doing this on your own. There might be specific reasons why your doctor prefers you take your medicine in the morning.
What is considered dangerously low blood pressure?
Blood pressure is usually considered too low only if it causes symptoms. Experts define low blood pressure to be readings lower than 90 mm Hg systolic or 60 mm Hg diastolic. Note that if either number is below the the above, then your pressure is lower than normal. Also, sudden drop in blood pressure can be dangerous
